AbbVie seeks a Director of SOX Lifecycle & Enablement to own the enterprise SOX program lifecycle, drive risk assessment, and coordinate a network of BU SOX Leads. The role balances hands-on delivery with strategic program modernization, including internal testing hubs and AI-enabled controls.

The candidate will manage external auditor relationships, lead deficiency evaluations, and drive training and adoption across control owners, with two direct reports and cross-functional collaboration.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in audit and internal controls, with significant SOX program leadership.
• CPA or CIA (or equivalent certification).
• Deep knowledge of PCAOB AS 2201, COSO 2013 framework, SEC Sections 302/404, and deficiency evaluation.

Mansioni

• Direct the annual SOX risk assessment and scoping process.
• Own the enterprise risk and control matrix and documentation standards.
• Manage Section 302/404 certification process and sub-certifications.
• Oversee deficiency management and liaison with external auditor positions.
• Coordinate BU SOX Leads network and change enablement activities.
