Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead a security engineering portfolio within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization.

You will drive impact across departments, owning technical areas and delivering security solutions at enterprise scale. You will build and operate AI-driven security platforms, including an enterprise-grade copilot, endpoint and server protection, and container security for large Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications

• Experience running teams of engineers delivering security solutions on cloud platforms.
• Experience building security engineering products used by developers at scale.
• Experience leading globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing top engineering leadership.
• Experience leading a product with roadmap ownership and stakeholder alignment.
• Strong expertise in endpoint, server, and workload protection technologies.
• Proven ability to deliver AI-enabled or automation-driven security platforms.
• Experience designing container security for large Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a globally distributed security engineering organization.
• Own strategy and lifecycle of an AI-driven security copilot.
• Oversee endpoint and server antivirus capabilities across environments.
• Own container security including image scanning and runtime protection.
• Drive platform adoption by embedding security into workflows.
• Set technical direction and architectural standards for security solutions.
• Translate security objectives into roadmaps and milestones.
• Influence senior stakeholders across business and tech.
• Staffing, budget, and profit and loss responsibilities.
• Manage decisions impacting resources and operations.
