Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Director of Security Engineering to lead a globally distributed team responsible for security platforms at enterprise scale. You will own the AI-powered security copilot and drive endpoint/server antivirus and container security across diverse environments.

You will partner with product and infrastructure teams to embed security by design while delivering automated security outcomes across the firm. Strong leadership and product ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers delivering security solutions and operations on cloud platforms.
• Experience building security products and platforms used by developers and security teams at scale.
• Proven ability to lead globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience hiring and developing senior security leadership talent.
• Experience acting as a product owner or manager with roadmap ownership and stakeholder alignment.
• Strong expertise in endpoint, server, and workload protection technologies.
• Track record delivering AI-enabled or automation-driven security platforms.
• Experience designing container security for large Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a globally distributed security engineering organization delivering high-impact platforms.
• Own the strategy and lifecycle of an AI-driven security copilot enabling scale for Product Security Leads.
• Oversee design, deployment, and operation of endpoint and server antivirus across diverse environments.
• Drive container security including image scanning, policy enforcement, and runtime protection.
• Promote security platform adoption by embedding controls into developer workflows.
• Set technical direction and architectural standards for scalable, automated security solutions.
• Translate firm-wide security objectives into engineering roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Influence senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.
