Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect/Engineer to shape secure solutions across software applications and platform products. You will lead the creation of AI-enabled cybersecurity solutions and reusable frameworks, collaborating across the organization to drive risk mitigation while advancing security controls in the SDLC.

You will mentor engineering teams, advocate secure design, and apply enterprise-grade security practices across AWS/Azure/GCP environments, leveraging IAM,

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering/architecture with applied system design experience.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, C/C++, Node, or Golang.
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions with SDLC and agile methodologies (CI/CD).
• Practical cybersecurity experience in AI/ML, Cloud, Infrastructure, or Vulnerability Management.
• Extensive cloud-native experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) including Kubernetes, Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in IAM principles (RBAC, OAuth2.0, SCIM, WebAuthN, OPA, PBAC) with data security knowledge.
• Experience with CIS Security baselines, configuration drift remediation, and security architecture.
• Proven experience building scalable microservices, APIs, and high-availability databases with data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure solutions and review code.
• Architect complex security frameworks for cloud and on-prem environments to drive standardization.
• Advance security controls by assessing gaps and implementing improvements per industry standards.
• Lead IAM implementations and AI-enabled security approaches within the SDLC/toolchain.
• Translate complex issues to leadership to enable strategic decisions on target architecture.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and mentor engineering teams.
