Job summary

Panorama Education is seeking a Director of People Operations & Systems to own the HRIS ecosystem, payroll governance, and data integrity. You will lead the transition to a modern HR technology environment, building scalable workflows and self-service capabilities while partnering across Finance, IT, Legal, and Talent.

You will guide a team responsible for onboarding/offboarding, data quality, dashboards, and compliant processes, while using AI to redesign workflows and reduce manual effort.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in progressive People Operations or HRIS.
• Experience leading a major HRIS implementation or transformation (Rippling preferred).
• Strong payroll fluency including multi-state audits and controls.
• Experience leading operational teams with clear accountability across functions.
• Systems and data orientation across architecture, data quality, reporting, integrations, controls.

Responsibilities

• Own People technology ecosystem, governance, integrations, access, and vendor performance.
• Build scalable data dashboards and self-service reporting for leaders.
• Lead payroll governance, controls, audits, and exception management.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle processes for international employees.
• Drive benefits, compliance, and operational risk management.
• Redesign workflows with automation, AI, and self-service to reduce manual work.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Legal, Talent, and leadership on systems changes and risk.
