Job summary

Ellucian seeks a Director, Marketing Operations & Performance to transform how Marketing operates, driving efficiency, collaboration, and measurable ROI through AI, automation, and data-driven insights. You will shape the operating model, lead planning, and partner with Finance, Sales Ops, and Marketing leadership to implement streamlined processes and accountable results.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing operations, marketing strategy, or related leadership roles.
• Experience leading strategic planning, operational transformation, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve processes and performance.
• Experience developing operating models, governance frameworks, priorities, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing operations, including demand generation, ABM, pipeline management, and sales alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning with aligned priorities and resources.
• Oversee the integrated marketing portfolio including project intake, prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Drive improvements to the operating model with AI-enabled workflows and automation.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities based on business value.
• Establish and improve marketing cadence, governance, and accountability frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve collaboration and reduce bottlenecks.
• Own KPI framework, targets, and business reviews with Analytics and Finance.
• Translate marketing performance data into actionable executive recommendations.
• Partner with Demand Gen, Sales Ops, and Marketing to improve funnel, handoffs, and pipeline.
• Support periodic performance reviews with clear action plans and accountability.
• Collaborate with Finance on budget planning, forecasting, and resource optimization.
• Evaluate investments and program effectiveness for ROI improvements.
• Drive change management and adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Serve as strategic advisor to senior Marketing leadership on priorities and execution.
