Job summary

Ellucian is seeking a Director of Marketing Operations & Performance to transform how our Marketing organization operates. You will lead AI-enabled workflows, automation, and data-driven insights to improve productivity, accelerate execution, and maximize ROI while aligning with the broader revenue organization.

You will shape the operating model, drive continuous improvement, manage a small team, and partner with Finance, Sales Operations, and Marketing leadership to deliver measurable business

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing operations, strategy, or leadership roles.
• Strong experience leading strategic planning, operational transformation, and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve processes and performance.
• Experience developing operating models, governance, and performance management processes.
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing operations, including ABM, pipeline management, and sales alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning and align investments with growth objectives.
• Oversee the integrated marketing portfolio, prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Drive improvements to operating models through AI-enabled workflows and automation.
• Identify high-impact AI opportunities based on business value and feasibility.
• Own KPI framework and performance reviews, evaluating ROI and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate to improve funnel performance, lead qualification, and marketing-to-sales handoffs.
