Motive is seeking a Director of Developer Platform & Experience to own the internal developer ecosystem end to end: developer experience, infrastructure, build/CI&CD, and testing frameworks enabling hundreds of engineers to move quickly and safely. The role spans North America, Europe, and Asia, with a focus on fast, secure, scalable delivery across diverse tech stacks.

As a builder, you will ship improvements that reduce friction, accelerate release cycles, and align platform

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering and production systems.
• 6+ years leading engineering teams, including managers of managers.
• Deep DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with AI developer tooling and agented development.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-driven development lifecycle strategy and execution.
• Own cloud-based agentic development infrastructure and engineering velocity.
• Improve developer experience with fast inner loops and tooling.
• Lead leadership across time zones and multiple orgs.
