Job summary

Tapestry in New York, NY, seeks a Director of Digital Engineering - AI & Commerce Platforms to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of AI-enabled, cloud-native platforms on AWS, with ownership of DevOps and modern engineering practices.

You will partner with Brand, Digital, Product, and IT to define technology strategies leveraging AI, cloud, and automation to improve customer experience and speed to market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/platform engineering with 3+ in leadership.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience deploying AI/ML in production environments.
• Strong API-first, microservices, and CI/CD practices.
• Retail/eCommerce domain experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of scalable AI-enabled platforms on AWS.
• Drive modernization of eCommerce platforms for omnichannel experiences.
• Promote best practices in architecture, coding, CI/CD and security.
