Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Director of Data Center Field Services for AI Infrastructure to drive service delivery across Dell’s most complex AI environments. The role partners with Field Service Managers, Domain Engineers, and cross-functional teams to improve responsiveness, uptime, and customer outcomes.

You will translate business priorities into field execution and build scalable operating rhythms that scale with growth.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience leading field service, technical operations, data center operations, or complex service delivery organizations.
• Proven leadership in large-scale, customer-facing technical environments with strong service delivery, escalation management, and customer engagement expertise.
• Ability to lead through matrixed organizations and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
• Deep understanding of AI infrastructure, data center operations, server platforms, and enterprise support models.
• Track record of building scalable processes, operating rhythms, and field execution models in high-growth or highly complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the field services approach for large-scale AI infrastructure accounts, aligning operational execution with customer business priorities and Dell service commitments.
• Lead the field services leadership model across large-scale customer environments, coordinating closely with Field Service Managers, Designated Service Engineers, Domain Engineers, and the Client Delivery Executive.
• Oversee field service execution supporting corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, incident response, and service continuity.
• Define and monitor operational KPIs tied to service quality, availability, responsiveness, and customer outcomes.
• Lead and develop high-performing field service teams supporting complex AI infrastructure environments.
