Job summary

BlackLine Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director of Strategic Technology Partnerships (AI & Cloud) to build and manage high-impact alliances with AI and hyperscaler providers, shaping the platform's technical roadmap.

You will lead co-development efforts, define API schemas and data pipelines, and influence early-access model evaluations with OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and others alongside product, engineering, and legal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
10+ years managing strategic tech alliances involving API integrations, cloud infra, or AI models.
Hands-on technical background with ability to read API docs and discuss data flows.
Experience with major AI/cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, OpenAI, Anthropic) and co-development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

AI ecosystem strategy and engineering alliances: build roadmap-level relationships with AI and hyperscaler teams.
Technical & product co-development: lead joint integrations, define API schemas and data-sharing pipelines.
Strategic planning: align partnership strategy to AI-native product development and enterprise compliance.
Cross-functional collaboration: work with product, engineering, and legal to advance commitments.
Roadmap influence: represent BlackLine's tech requirements in partner planning conversations.
Co-marketing & positioning: coordinate with marketing on partner narratives.
