Job summary

ROUTEONE in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Director of Application Development to lead an Agile Release Train and own end-to-end delivery across multiple teams. You will drive development guidelines, partner with Product Management to align priorities, and foster a culture of servant leadership, accountability, and continuous learning.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strategic vision and hands-on coaching of senior engineers and team leads.

Qualifications

• 12 years of management experience in software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Agile Release Train consisting of multiple Agile Teams and leaders.
• Own end-to-end delivery across the Release Train, delivering high-quality results.
• Review and implement development guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• Coach Agile Team Leaders and other direct reports; drive performance.
• Partner with Product Management to align priorities, capacity, and delivery.
• Ensure system availability and adherence to service level expectations.
• Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout responsibilities.
