Homesteaders Life Company is seeking a Director of Application Delivery in the United States (Iowa). The role provides technical direction, development oversight, and deployment of change and R&D initiatives.

You will drive architecture, prototypes, and align plans with business goals in a hybrid work environment. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in application development, 5+ years in .NET, and 3+ years in people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in application development.
• 5+ years of .NET framework experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure Pipelines) and Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and transformations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for application delivery and architecture.
• Lead and mentor development teams, manage hiring and performance.
• Drive Agile adoption and CI/CD automation, possibly ScrumMaster.
• Oversee budgets, standards, and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to define roadmaps and strategy.
• Partner with business units to deliver innovative technology solutions.
