Job summary

Pax8 is seeking a Director of Product Management for Agentic Platform Enablement Experience (APEX). You will own the agentic platform surfaces (SDKs, tool use, orchestration, internal developer platform) and lead a team of PMs.

This role blends hands-on product work with strategic leadership and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Security, Design, and GTM. You will drive autonomous capabilities with safety, ROI, and measurable outcomes, while mentoring the PM team and shaping

Qualifications

8–10 years of product management experience
3+ years leading product managers
Engineering background with coding ability
Track record on developer-focused platforms (APIs/SDKs/CLI)
Data-driven with experiments and metrics
Clear ROI justification and stakeholder communication
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and align teams

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and launch criteria for APEX platform surfaces
Set launch-readiness criteria with Engineering, Security, Research, and Design
Define autonomy spectrum and trust/controls for capabilities
Identify and mitigate pre-launch risks; establish monitoring and rollback
Build prototypes, scripts, and eval harnesses in coordination with engineers
Hire, coach, and develop AI-fluent PMs; manage development plans
Represent the platform internally and externally: enablement, developer relations, launches
Model daily AI tool usage and promote best practices
