Job summary

Pax8 is the global AI and cloud Marketplace for SMBs, and we seek a Director of Product Management for the APEX team. You will own the agentic platform surfaces, SDKs, tooling, and internal developer platform, guiding a team of PMs in a hands-on, code-focused capacity.

You will set strategy, drive ROI-focused roadmaps, and partner with Engineering, Security, Research, and Design to ship safe, scalable autonomous capabilities with strong leadership and delivery accountability.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in product management or equivalent
• 3+ years leading product managers, including growing a team
• Engineering background with professional coding or prototype skills
• Proven track record delivering developer-focused platform capabilities (APIs/SDKs/CLIs)
• Data-driven with experiments, adoption metrics, and ROI focus
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership in senior stakeholder contexts
• Comfort with ambiguity and prioritization in fast-moving environments
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams across Engineering, Security, Research, and Design

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and launch criteria for the APEX platform surfaces.
• Set launch-readiness criteria for non-deterministic systems with Engineering, Security, Research, and Design.
• Define autonomy spectrum and the trust/UX that makes capabilities understandable.
• Hire, coach, and develop PMs with development plans and performance conversations.
• Prototype and test product decisions inside code repos and internal SDKs as a peer user.
• Measure adoption, quality, and safety metrics from day one, running experiments and A/B tests.
