Job summary

Cresset, a leading independent multi-family office, seeks a Director, Advisor Transitions & Integration to lead advisor and client transitions from due diligence through full integration. This role blends strategy with hands‑on execution, embedding with teams, custodians and partners to deliver a seamless client experience.

You will drive readiness, develop operating models, coordinate resources across advisory practice management, client service, technology and HR, and maintain calm leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications a plus.
• 8-10+ years in financial services, wealth mgmt, or integration roles.
• Experience leading large-scale advisor transitions, acquisitions, or integrations.
• Calm under pressure with strong judgment and ownership mindset.
• Proven ability to build trust with founders, advisors, and execs.
• Willingness to travel extensively for integrations and due diligence.
• Fluent with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and wealth tech.
• Understanding of brokerage/custody operations, transfers, onboarding, and tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisor transitions from due diligence to full integration.
• Define strategy, operating model, governance, and execution standards.
• Embed with advisory teams and custodians during onboarding for weeks.
• Coordinate resources across departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Manage milestones, risks, and dependencies across workstreams.
• Own advisor transition experience from agreement to post‑integration stabilization.
• Serve as face of transition for advisors and teams across activities.
• Oversee technology, data migration, and platform integrations.
