Job summary

ADP is hiring a Director, Actuary for Health & Wealth Benefits to drive advanced analytics, pricing, and risk assessment across the organization. The role collaborates with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver insights and scalable models.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of actuarial experience in health insurance, ASA certification, and strong communication skills to present complex concepts to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 12+ years' experience as an actuary or equivalent relevant role, with a strong background in health insurance.
• ASA certification and actuarial expertise.
• Experience with cloud database technologies (e.g., AWS) and developing solutions on cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data and analytics space.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experience studies and identify actionable insights to modify subscriber behaviors and improve results.
• Analyze carrier cost ratios and identify opportunities for improvement across new and existing clients.
• Prepare and present actuarial reports to senior leadership with clear findings and recommendations.
• Partner with Data & Analytics, Data Product teams, and stakeholders to create roadmaps and execute projects in an agile environment.
• Mentor junior team members within a matrixed pod and stay current with industry trends and regulations (SOX, HIPAA).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
