Job summary

ADP is hiring a Director, Actuary for Health & Wealth Benefits. You will apply statistical techniques to develop pricing models, assess risk, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver insights and strategic plans. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in actuarial roles with health insurance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of actuary experience, health insurance background.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to mentor juniors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading actuarial pricing, reserving, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experience studies and derive actionable insights to improve subscriber behaviors and results.
• Analyze carrier cost ratios and identify improvement opportunities for new and existing clients.
• Prepare actuarial reports for senior leadership with clear findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to create roadmaps and execute agile projects.
• Mentor junior team members within matrix pods and stay current with industry trends.
