Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's UnitedHealthcare division is seeking a Director of Actuarial Services to lead Part D bidding and forecasting. You will analyze data, build SAS/SQL/Excel models, and drive process improvements while coordinating with other teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ASA or FSA designation required.
• 5+ years actuarial experience.
• Experience with Part D pricing or forecasting.
• Experience with large datasets and data modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficient in SAS/SQL or similar programming tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand Part D bid pricing.
• Develop pricing and forecast models and methodologies for Part D.
• Lead actuarial analysis for pricing and forecasting assumptions.
• Review model results and test sensitivity.
• Participate in bid submission and forecast processes.
• Manage deadlines and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
