Job summary

BNI Global seeks a Director of Accounting to lead Finance Transformation & Special Projects. You will drive strategic initiatives from planning through execution, oversee ERP optimization (NetSuite), and manage AI adoption while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

You will build and guide a two-person Senior Accountant team, ensure timely reporting, and align processes with global standards during a period of growth and transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and its application to new arrangements and systems.
• Experience implementing and optimizing financial systems (ERP and related applications).
• Proven people-leadership experience with mentoring and developing staff.
• Excellent project-management skills with multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior leadership.
• Experience managing external vendors, consultants, and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional finance and accounting initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Own the accounting and finance technology roadmap with ERP optimization (NetSuite).
• Lead the team’s AI initiative with governance and training.
• Develop the Finance Transformation team and leadership.
• Oversee acquisitions integrations with aligned processes and systems.
• Mentor two Senior Accountants and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Manage vendors and consultants to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with other departments to strengthen data processes and controls.
• Build market knowledge of statutory and compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
