BlackLine is seeking a visionary Director, Accounting (General Ledger) to lead and scale the global GL team. You will own the global close, drive AI-enabled automation, and shape finance transformation across ERP platforms like NetSuite, SAP, and Oracle.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders to align accounting operations with strategic growth, ensure SOX compliance, and serve as a key reference for customers and Product teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in a technology/enterprise software environment.
• 4+ years of direct people management and leadership experience.
• Strong fluency with ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and financial automation tools (BlackLine).
• Experience with AI tools, automated workflows, and data-warehouse reporting is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead global GL operations including month-, quarter-, and year-end close with accurate journal entries, consolidations, intercompany activity, and reconciliations.
• Drive AI-powered automation adoption and internal finance transformation.
• Partner with Product and other functions to optimize finance systems and reporting.
• Oversee data warehouse reporting initiatives and provide actionable financial insights.
• Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls and manage external audits.
