Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field required; four years' experience.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee initiatives and programs for students, researching policies for accommodations and ADA/ADAAA compliance.
• Advise and train university departments on accessibility issues; promote compliance and liaise with students, faculty, staff and stakeholders.
• Direct the Office of Accessibility Services main office, testing center and assistive technology center; manage budget, staff, space needs; supervise personnel and complete evaluations.
• Manage budgets, seek and secure outside funding; disperse and report expenditures; collaborate with campus partners to promote resources.
• Develop academic accommodation plans with students; provide services for various disabling conditions; maintain case notes and act as liaison between faculty and students.

Education

Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field

Master's degree (preferred)
