Job summary

Vivint is seeking a highly technical Director of Product Management for Partner Experiences to own strategy and end-to-end integration of third-party devices into the Vivint Home ecosystem. You will drive the roadmap with external partners and internal teams to enable seamless, secure, and scalable interoperability across smart lighting, climate controls, sensors, and entertainment platforms.

Qualifications

8+ years of product management experience, with 4+ years in developer platforms, IoT integrations, or partner ecosystems.
Proven track record leading complex technical integrations with tier-1 consumer electronics or software partners.
Experience delivering multi-phase launches across distributed organizations.
Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field; equivalent practical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Own the 3P partner integration roadmap and strategy for Vivint Home ecosystem.
Define interoperability, security, and UX baselines for external hardware to ensure native Vivint app performance.
Collaborate with Core Platform Eng, Cloud Infra, and InfoSec to design scalable SDKs and APIs.
Write BRDs and PRFAQs to gain executive alignment on ecosystem expansion opportunities.
Lead external partnerships and negotiate alignment with partner roadmaps.
