Job summary

Discovery Point in Georgia seeks a Director to lead a child development center, ensuring a safe learning environment and quality education. You will recruit and manage staff, drive enrollment and revenue targets, keep parents informed, and oversee the center’s costs.

The role requires knowledge of licensing rules, early childhood curriculum, and sound business practices, with leadership experience in a licensed child care setting. CDL and regulatory trainings are needed.

Qualifications

• Must have, or be able to obtain a commercial driver’s license, CPR/Fire Safety & any other training required by regulatory agencies.
• Must possess state‑specific director credentials.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum & appropriate developmental practices.
• Knowledge of sound business practices, including budgeting and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a director in a licensed child care center

• Must possess state‑specific director credentials
