Job summary

Multisite Franchise Operator in Wheeling, IL seeks a passionate Center Director to lead a Child Care Center, overseeing operations, staff, and curriculum to create a nurturing learning environment.

You will build a strong team, ensure licensing compliance, drive enrollment, and engage families through tours and community events while managing payroll and finances.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of center leadership/management experience.
• State-specific Administrative or Director credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity.
• Ensure center health and safety SOPs and licensing compliance.
• Build and maintain a qualified staff through sourcing, training, coaching, and engagement.
• Guide teachers in implementing the proprietary curriculum.
• Drive enrollment and manage finances, payroll, and monthly P&L.
• Engage families via in-person and virtual tours and organize community events.

As Center Director, You Will:

• Lead by example, displaying a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees. Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people.
• Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
• Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
• Guide our teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning.
• Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations. Manage accounts receivable and payable, generate monthly P&L reports, and oversee employee payroll.
• Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program. Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.

• Have three or more years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred)
• Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (highly preferred).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
