ITG Communications is hiring a Drill Operator in Huntsville, AL to operate HDD equipment and install conduit, fiber, or other utilities as part of construction projects. You will read prints, locate utilities, perform inspections, and maintain equipment while ensuring safety and productivity in varied field conditions.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of directional drilling experience, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Competenze

• 1–3 years of directional drilling experience or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of HDD equipment such as Ditch Witch or Vermeer a plus.
• Ability to read construction plans and understand underground utility locates.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Mansioni

• Operate drilling rigs to install underground utilities per project specs.
• Read prints, locate utilities, and mark bore paths.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Maintain bore logs and documentation.
• Ensure safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with potholing, trenching, or related duties as assigned.
• Work in varied terrain and weather while maintaining productivity.
