Cable Services Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled directional bore operator to support installation and upgrades of communications conduit, gas, water, and sewer lines. Primary duties include set-up and bore path completion, loading equipment, and verifying utilities per blueprints.

Candidates should have experience reading prints, know utility depths, and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather. The role requires long hours, travel, and strict safety compliance at job sites.

Qualifications

• One year of experience operating a directional bore in telecommunications preferred.
• Experience with rock boring preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A license preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and plans.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload directional bore equipment securely.
• Transport tools, materials and equipment safely.
• Inspect bore equipment daily before use.
• Prepare drill fluid based on site conditions.
• Locate and operate the directional drill to place cables.
• Operate horizontal directional drill equipment per standards.
• Locate cables and verify against blueprints.
• Identify utilities in the area and bore path.
• Connect conduit and wire.
• Dig pits and trenches when crossing utilities.
• Restore disturbed areas and landscapes.
• Complete daily company documentation (timesheet, logs).
• Adhere to safety policies.
• Perform other duties to help team.
