Cable Services Company in Williamsport, PA is seeking a Directional Bore Operator / Locator to support boring operations for conduit and utility installations. The role involves set-up, bore path completion, locating utilities, and working with the bore crew to place cables in various environments.

The position requires ability to read engineering prints, perform physically demanding tasks, and travel weekly with hotel accommodations and per diem provided.

Qualifications

• One year of experience operating a directional bore (telecommunications field preferred).
• Previous rock boring experience.
• Class A CDL required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload directional bore equipment.
• Transport tools and materials safely.
• Perform daily inspections on bore equipment.
• Prepare drill fluid based on site conditions.
• Locate/operate the directional drill to place cables.
• Dig pits, trenches, or potholes; restore disturbed areas.
• Complete all required company documentation (timesheets, logs, reports).
• Adhere to company safety policies and work safely.
