Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecom cables. You will determine bore paths, operate drilling equipment, and verify utilities through potholing, while maintaining bore schedules and site readiness.

Role requires 18+, legal work status in the US, and experience with drilling operations. CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred or willingness to obtain it. Work may involve varied weather and on-site conditions.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore design processes.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
• Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
