Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old for Children's Residential program; 18–21 for Direct Support Technician role.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record meeting insurance requirements.
• No felony convictions or substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying offenses.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Background screening must be favorable.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily care, supervision, and support.
• Helping clients develop daily living, self-help, and social skills.
• Supporting positive social behaviors and interactions.
• Following individual behavior-management plans.
• Responding to and managing crisis situations.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
• Leading or supervising recreational and life-enrichment activities.
• Recognizing and responding to safety concerns and emergencies.
• Completing daily documentation professionally and timely.
• Collaborating with staff for consistent, individualized care.
