Job summary

Homes for Independent Living is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to lead our direct care team across Green Bay, Pulaski, and New Franken locations. You will supervise caregivers, coach staff, and ensure high-quality client care in daily living activities and behavioral support.

The role requires 18+ years old, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and successful completion of background checks. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Reliable transportation to and from programs and training classes.
• Communication & problem-solving skills.
• Successful completion of caregiver background check, TB test and health screen.
• Valid driver’s license with 3 years of acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff, including training, coaching and mentoring.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Redirect challenging behaviors to promote independence and quality of life.
• Assist with cooking and cleaning in the home.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
