Job summary

Step By Step, Inc is seeking a Direct Support Professional Lead to mentor the team, supervise daily operations, and coordinate finances while delivering person-centered services to adults with disabilities. You will oversee multiple locations and model professionalism and empathy within a supportive, mission-driven nonprofit.

The role emphasizes leadership, weekend/holiday availability, and strong communication with participants, staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions or points within the past three years.
• High school diploma or GED, plus at least 6 months of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the delivery of quality, person-centered services.
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant residential environment.
• Overseeing the daily care, activities, and needs of program participants.
• Supervising household operations, including facility upkeep, supplies, meal planning, medication administration, documentation, expenses, and daily records.

Essential responsibilities include:

Locations

We are seeking to hire multiple Leads to oversee locations including Greentree, Baldwin, Charleroi, and Greensburg.
