Job summary

Allyjiri Homes is seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support youth in a safe, structured and nurturing residential environment. You will help residents build independence, confidence, life skills, and positive behaviors while providing supervision, encouragement, and assistance with daily activities.

As a DSP, you will contribute to a supportive team, maintain professional boundaries, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred; additional human services education is desirable.
• Experience with children or youth with special needs is strongly preferred.
• Must complete background checks and health screenings as required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and support to youth in a safe, nurturing residential environment.
• Assist with daily living skills including hygiene, grooming, meals, housekeeping, and organization.
• Encourage independence and positive social skills while promoting safe decision-making.
• Follow individualized service plans and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
• Complete accurate daily documentation, progress notes, and required records.
• Transport residents for activities and appointments as authorized.
