Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation seeks a Direct Support Professional in Tununak to provide direct support to a person with developmental disabilities and coordinate local services. You will partner with family and village resources to promote independence and safety.

Earn a stable full-time schedule in rural southwest Alaska with competitive benefits and statewide support from YKHC. A driver’s license and CPR/First Aid training are required or to be completed after hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required. AA degree preferred.
• One year experience with consumers with special needs or related fields may be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support services to assigned individual with developmental disabilities.
• Coordinate village-based services and access resources.
• Work with Traditional Council to ensure safety and well-being of the individual.
