Job summary

Venture Community Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Massachusetts to support adults with disabilities. The role emphasizes empowerment, independence, and community participation with paid orientation and ongoing training.

The schedule includes Sundays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays with a total of 30 hours per week; pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus. Benefits are offered to support employees’ well-being and growth.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible.
• Assist with household tasks: meals, shopping, cleaning, bathing, toileting, dressing, dental care.
• Accompany to medical appointments and community activities; assist with banking and outings.
• Administer medications per plans; follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
