Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Fitchburg, MA. The role includes advocating for adults 22+ with disabilities and supporting daily living activities to promote independence, empowerment, and community involvement.

This full-time position offers paid training, a sign-on bonus, and a 40-hour schedule with weekend shifts. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, plus full benefits and ongoing education opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal care.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, banking, community activities and outings; administer medications as needed.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and comply with medical guidelines.
