Job summary

Venture Community Services, Webster, MA, is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for part-time hours to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes daily living assistance, transportation, community activities, and adherence to care plans.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professional (DSP) advocates and supports adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, etc.
• Help attend medical appointments, banking, community activities, outings; follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
• Follow medical guidelines and administer medications as needed; participate in training and certifications.
