Community Options, Inc. in Pflugerville, TX is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides to provide person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No experience required; paid training is provided.

Starting pay is $12.50 per hour with opportunities for growth across Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN roles. You will assist with daily routines, accompany individuals to activities, document care, and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to establish a supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Good judgment and calmness in crisis situations.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns.
• Assist with learning and development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities with individuals.
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and activities in the community.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately.
• Build a support network by engaging with community members and families.
• Additional tasks may be assigned.
• Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections or investigations.
