Job summary

CWTC - Community Workshop and Training Center, Inc. provides programs for adults with disabilities in Central Illinois. We seek a Direct Support Person to deliver training and supervision in a home-like setting, helping residents achieve their Discovery Plan goals and independence.

You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and safe, sanitary living spaces while attending mandated trainings to ensure consistent, quality support for residents.

Qualifications

• Assisting with daily living activities for residents.
• Maintaining personal hygiene and self-care routines for residents.
• Ensuring safety and cleanliness in living spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and supervision to residents to help achieve Discovery Plan goals.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other self-care tasks.
• Assist with meals, laundry, housekeeping, and safe transport as needed.
• Document care activities and communicate with house team and supervisors.
