Dungarvin in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible. You will provide direct support, assist with daily living tasks, and accompany clients to appointments and community activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, household tasks, meals, budgeting, appointments, and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Promote independence, personal choice, and life skills development.
• Support ISPs and document progress.
• Observe and communicate changes or concerns to supervisors and teammates.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community outings as needed.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation per program and regulatory requirements.
