Dungarvin inc is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Sauk Rapids, MN. You will work directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living, transportation, and community activities to promote independence and person-centered supports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and potential behavioral support needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living, household tasks, meal preparation, budgeting, appointments and community activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Promote independence, personal choice, and life skills development.
• Support individuals in achieving ISPs goals and document progress accordingly.
• Observe and communicate changes, concerns, and progress to supervisors and team members.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation per program and regulatory requirements.
