Job summary

South Carolina DDSN in Florence, SC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help individuals and families navigate challenges and achieve long-term wellness. You will follow individual support plans and assist with daily living activities, while maintaining safety and documentation.

The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a $3.50/hour shift differential on applicable shifts, with mandatory overtime when required to ensure consumer safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills including Therap and SCEIS Central for time/leave.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and basic safety practices.
• A valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of each consumer per BSP, dining and lifting protocols.
• Transport and monitor consumers to off-campus appointments and activities.
• Implement training and service programs per individual support plan.
• Complete timely data collection and maintain documentation per policies.
• Report significant events and suspected abuse as required.
• Maintain a safe, neat environment and participate in team meetings.
