Out Of The Box Solutions is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care for individuals with ID/DD in a home and community setting. You will support daily routines, help clients engage in community activities, and follow individualized care plans to help them achieve personal goals.

The role emphasizes compassionate, respectful care, flexible scheduling, and clear communication with families.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid drivers license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must pass all state-required background checks and meet ODDS employment eligibility requirements
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client)
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged
• Follow care plans and goals
• Communicate with families and your team
• Complete notes and documentation
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times
