Job summary

Hope Haven of Northeast GA is seeking Direct Support Professionals who are reliable, have excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, work well within a team, can be a positive role model for the individuals they serve, has excellent time management skills, and enjoys improving the lives of the individuals we serve.

The role involves supervising and assisting individuals, supporting skill development, and promoting positive daily living.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance.
• Acceptable motor vehicle and criminal records report.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Acceptable Pre-Employment Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct support services to individuals, including supervision and skill development.
• Maintaining documentation requirements involving individual and/or program record-keeping.
• Assist the Home Coordinators and/or Case Coordinators with case management responsibilities.
• Monitor and supervise the individuals in self-administrating medications.
• Performs various other duties as may be assigned.
