Job summary

Legacy Behavioral Health Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to join our Lowndes team in South Georgia. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities in a 24/7 residential program, delivering daily living skills training and community integration per the Individual Service Plan.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a GA driver’s license with <5 points, and CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain). Must be available for nights, weekends and holidays. We offer paid leave and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid GA driver's license with fewer than 5 points.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and support to people with developmental disabilities in a 24/7 residential program.
• Delver skills training in daily living and community integration as outlined by the Individual Service Plan.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary home environment meeting CARF safety regulations.
• Assist in coordinating transportation for persons served.
• Monitor and document progress in treatment.
• Flexibility to work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
