Job summary

Hope Haven of Northeast GA is seeking Direct Support Professionals who are reliable, have excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, work well within a team, can be a positive role model for the individuals we serve, and possess strong time management. No certification needed, flexible schedule and all training provided.

Responsibilities include direct support and supervision, documentation, assisting coordinators with case management, and monitoring medication administration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance; reliable transportation.
• Acceptable motor vehicle and criminal records report.
• Pre-Employment Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct support services to individuals, including supervision and skill development consistent with individual choices and outcomes.
• Maintaining documentation requirements involving individual and/or program record-keeping.
• Assist the Home Coordinators and/or Case Coordinators with case management responsibilities.
• Monitor and supervise the individuals in self-administrating medications.
• Performs various other duties as may be assigned.
