Job summary

WellLife Network in Maspeth, NY is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities. You’ll assist with daily living, mobility, and community activities to help residents live as independently as possible.

Strong communication in English, a NY driver’s license, and compassionate, patient demeanor are valued. Training and growth opportunities are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency diploma is required.
• Fluent in English for client communication.
• A valid New York State Driver’s License with at least 2 years of driving experience (required for driving positions).
• Comfort operating a large vehicle (for driving positions).
• Experience supporting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred.
• Patience, compassion, and dedication to empowering others.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care & Daily Living Support: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal prep, chores, and creating a safe home environment.
