Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Support with meal preparation, feeding, and nutrition.
• Encourage independence and development of daily living and social skills.
• Provide transportation and accompany individuals to appointments and outings.
• Follow individual service plans and behavioral support strategies.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Administer or assist with medications as allowed by training/regulations.
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being.
• Complete documentation, progress notes, and incident reports.
• Communicate with supervisors, families, and team members.
• Treat individuals with dignity, respect, patience, and compassion.
