Job summary

Prestige Home Care LLC is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide person-centered support to individuals with IDD in their homes and communities. You will assist individuals in developing independence, participating in meaningful activities, building relationships, and achieving ISP goals.

The role emphasizes dignity, choice, and community integration, with attention to safety, documentation, and collaboration with families and care teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, person-centered support based on ISP and service needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
• Support personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, meal prep, and housekeeping as authorized.
• Encourage independence and participation in daily routines.
• Support life skills, communication, self-advocacy, and decision-making.
• Assist access to community resources, activities, appointments, and employment.
• Promote community integration and participation.
• Provide transportation assistance when authorized.
• Maintain safe environment and report safety concerns.
