Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You’ll provide daily living supports, skill-building opportunities, and documentation while working within a team that emphasizes safety and person-centered care.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year experience with disabilities preferred, and the ability to drive a van.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based agency tools.
• Valid US driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Support learning and independence through skills training.
• Maintain progress notes and required documentation.
• Transport residents to medical, recreational, and community activities.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations when applicable.
• Participate in safety checks and program meetings.
